FAMILY/PERSONAL HISTORY: Jocelynn Rowe was never a very behaved girl. She caused her wealthy muggle parents nothing but trouble. The last straw was getting involved with a dangerous mysterious older man when she was only nineteen and finding herself pregnant. This man was famed Quidditch player Dai Llewellyn. Dai was killed before Reese was born, he was eaten by a Chimera in 1984. As far as Jocelynn knew, the man who wasn't going to marry her but would support her child, had just taken off.

The Wizarding Government at the time didn't see a need to give any of Dai's estate to his pregnant muggle girlfriend. Dai was constantly bouncing from one woman to the next anyway. Reese Rowe was born on December 29, 1984. He was raised by his mother, who was disinherited and working in copy center. By the time Reese was eleven and received his Hogwarts letter his mother was manager at the copy store. Hogwarts provided a scholarship for Reese and he was able to attend the school.

That was when Reese discovered that his father was a wizard and that he hadn't walked out on them. Reese came into Hogwarts during the midst of the return of Voldemort. Being able to trace his parentage to a famous pureblood wizard kept him alive through the war. Reese researched everything he could on his father and even found a brief mention of himself (not by name) in the biography by Kennilworthy Whisp (He Flew Like a Madman).

After the battle of Hogwarts Reese returned to school and was made captain of the Hufflepuff team. By the end of his seventh year Hufflepuff had won three trophies with him on the team. Reese was considered a bit of a wunderkind. He was signed right away as a reserve for the Pride of Portree and joined the team once his seventh year let out (the season had started a few weeks before graduation).

Because he was too late to be a starter, he sat on the bench for the rest of June. In July one of the Pride Beaters fell ill and he got his chance. Reese played amazingly in his first game.

This lead to a few spats of jealous rivalry with the player who'd been ill, team veteran Brock Ratford. After a locker room fight in August, Brock, who'd started it and nearly finished it (he was a very large guy), was asked to retire.

Reese has been a favourite of the media, fans, and advertisers since. He recently broke up with his girlfriend of three years because she turned out to be a very shallow leech.

PERSONALITY: Reese isn't really old enough to know who he is yet, and his sudden Quidditch fame makes it hard to find out. Reese was a very quiet, behaved kid until he got to Hogwarts. When he found Quidditch and discovered his parentage he found a new energy and became a lot more outgoing. Having a famous father to brag about gave him a lot of confidence.

He is really defined by his loyalty. Loyalty to his team, to his friends, and to his family. He is very driven by goals but makes those ambitions based on the needs of his family and team.

He can sometimes be cocky. It's hard when people are constantly stroking your ego. He also has a hard time taking criticism because he's young and hasn't had much practice. Like his father he's reckless on the pitch, but as a beater it makes him far more dangerous of a player.
